Striped and Checked Fabrics

Stripe and check fabrics are textiles defined by clean lines and geometry and can be printed or woven. Stripes are created with linear bands of colour or texture, while checks are formed by intersecting lines to create a grid or square pattern. Woven stripes are created by banding the colour in the weft for a horizontal stripe, or in the warp for a vertical stripe. Woven checks are created by banding the colour in the warp and the weft. At de Le Cuona both are woven with precision using natural fibres such as linen, wool and cotton, resulting in structured, durable fabrics with refined character.

Stripe and check fabrics bring structure and rhythm to interiors. Their clean lines and balanced patterns add visual clarity, while our natural fibres provide durability and texture, making them well suited to interiors.

The collection includes a range of striped upholstery fabrics designed for durability and comfort, alongside striped curtain fabrics that offer fluid drape.
