Throws & Blankets FAQs
We use heritage fibres such as wool, alpaca and linen, selected for their warmth, breathability and rich natural texture.
Yes — each Signature collection piece is handmade in Windsor, England. Many of our LIFE collection throws and blankets are handmade by skilled artisans from around the world. Both reflect our commitment to craftsmanship, quality and considered detail.
For sofas, a throw should be large enough to drape generously across the seat or arm, adding softness without overwhelming the form. For beds, choose a larger size to layer across the foot or fully cover for added warmth and texture.
Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the softness and structure of the fibres.

Drape a throw loosely over the arm or back of a sofa for an effortless, relaxed look, or fold it neatly for a more tailored finish. On a bed, layer it across the foot or fuly cover the bed to introduce texture, warmth and a sense of depth.
The warmth of a throw or blanket depends on the fibres they are made from. Throws or Blankets made from wool, alpaca, or llama are generally warmer due to the naturally loft and soft texture of the fibre. Linen throws are better suited to warmer months, offering lighter texture and breathability. Silk and Cashmere throws can be warm but are generally lighter in weight and smaller so do not give the warmth of our wool blankets or throws.
